Fees / Payment

Joining the Lilly Pilly family

As a community preschool, we are funded by NSW Department of Education which requires us to maintain a certain standard of care and management. At the end of 2022 the NSW DoE introduced Fee Relief to support families with children attending preschool. Parents nominate which preschool service (only one) is to receive Fee Relief on a declaration form. This allows the family to access the one preschool service with reduced fees.

Any grants, the DoE Start Strong operational funding together with fees collected from parents/carers represents our budget. It is expended on wages, administration costs, equipment and funds for special projects. As an incorporated body, our financial affairs are subject to an independent annual audit.

Fees are subject to change each year.

All families will be invoiced for the $250 Enrolment Fee. (This is inclusive of the annual fee of $18 for our Storypark App (which is subject to change) and $2 for our Association membership.) Term Fee invoices will be issued early each term. We request that any invoices are paid in a timely manner and before your child commences at Lilly Pilly (it is really supportive for our book keeper and treasurer with their financial book keeping.)

 Term Fees

  • Fee Relief from the NSW Department of Education is paid directly to the Service and this is used as a fee reduction for parents
  • Fees are charged for each term (4 terms in total)
  • Families will be invoiced at the beginning of each term and we request prompt payment
  • Fees are to be paid via direct deposit bank transfer to the Lilly Pilly Preschool bank account
  • A receipt will be provided for each payment via email
  • If Lilly Pilly Little School is nominated as the preschool for Fee Relief Term Fees are:

$150 per term with a Health Care Card

$300 per term without a Health Care Card

(please note that only one preschool can be nominated for the NSW Department of Education Fee Relief. Fee Relief is different to the Child Care Subsidy-CCS which is provided via Centrelink at Child Care Centres. Families are able to access both Fee Relief at Lilly Pilly and the Child Care Subsidy at a different Approved Service).

If Lilly Pilly Little School is not nominated for Fee Relief, there will be a higher term fee to cover the loss of the Fee Relief funding.

$1400 per term with a Health Care Card

$1550 per term without a Health Care Card

  • Fees are payable for the 5 day fortnight that the child is enrolled at the Service. This includes pupil free days, sick/absent days, public holidays and family holidays.
  • If the Service is required to close due to periods of local emergency such as bushfire or flood or a pandemic, fees will be charged
  • Fees are charged for full sessions only (regardless of the actual attendance hours any day)
  • Families are requested to contact Lilly Pilly if their child is unable to attend preschool
